The magazine 3 Economy has interviewed in his june edition to Tomarial partners Antonio Ballester and Tomás Vázquez Lépinette, focusing the information on the way in which companies are managing the crisis situation created by the COVID-19 pandemic. "It is vital to protect the cash register and act quickly to overcome the crisis," says the interview Economía 3, placing quotation marks on one of the statements made by the managing partner of the firm, Antonio Ballester.

The economic magazine highlights that lawyers and financial advisers are supporting companies to overcome the crisis and on this question the two founding partners of Tomarial. Antonio Ballester considers that the current situation is very different from that of 2008 and advises, first of all, to "protect the box" because "the treasury in these cases is essential and demands to act quickly ... The box is to an organization what oxygen to a diver. Ballester recommends companies seeking financing as a top priority at this time. The partner of the Tomarial Legal Area, Tomás Vázquez Lépinette, also emphasizes access to financing as one of the keys so that ERTEs do not become ERE: “It is important to know well the bankruptcy instruments and, especially the pre-bankruptcies. A good use of the refinancing mechanisms and of the advance proposal of agreement can avoid the loss of many jobs ”.

Regarding the repeal of the labor reform and the increase in taxes, two measures announced by the Government, the partners of Tomarial consider that they may have a negative effect on the Spanish economy. Antonio Ballester believes that a higher tax burden "may even delay the exit from the crisis" and Tomás Vázquez Lépinette points out that a complete repeal of the labor reform "means returning to obsolete formulas that have already proven useless."
