tomarial has organized its annual technical session, dedicated to analyzing the challenges that companies face in 2024 in the tax, labor and commercial fields. As our managing partner, Antonio Ballester, explains, “the end of 2023 is presented as an unprecedented scenario for many companies. To the issues with direct impact on the economy of companies: recovery from the pandemic effect, war in Ukraine, increase in costs of energy and raw materials, inflation higher than expected, increases in interest rates, etc., we must join the tension and the political climate of uncertainty with a government in office for more than four months after the general elections of 23 J.
Antonio Ballester also points out that the economic forecasts for next year "move in the field of uncertainty: recession? Stagnation? deceleration? In any case, everything indicates that the growth of our economy in 2024 will be lower, if not flat. Regarding legislative production, 2023 reflects inactivity since the June 23 elections in fiscal, labor and commercial matters. «However, regulatory changes are announced by the new Government although their implementation is still unknown. Companies, however, faced with this situation, have no alternative: they must adapt to the new situation, continue to strive and fight for their survival and be prepared and well advised in the face of the changes that have been approved in tax, labor and commercial matters in 2023. and those announced for 2024."
