Tomarial Abogados y Asesores Tributarios will be part of the jury for the SIR (Sustainability, Innovation and Recycling) awards, which the company has organized Raorsa, dedicated to technologies for plastic. Rafael Martinez Medina, partner of the Area of Business Development and Consulting of Tomarial, will be the representative of our office in the jury that will award these awards for the first time.
The SIR awards are a novel initiative in favor of sustainability. As explained by the general director of Raorsa, Rafa Ortega, in the presentation of these awards, with them they intend to help combat the problem around the management of plastic, rewarding people or companies capable of developing sustainable materials or recyclable elements and that collaborate to preserve the Environment. The Raorsa family business is a benchmark in the plastic injection sector and wants to contribute to ideas that favor innovation and recycling.
The bases and the announcement of these SIR awards They will be communicated in November 2019; In November 2020, the finalists who will compete for the SIR awards will be chosen and in February 2021 the final gala of the awards will be held. The finalists will present their projects in Made From Plastic at Feria Valencia and the winners will be chosen there. The first prize will go to initiatives and projects of plastic biomaterials; the second, to initiatives and projects of circular economy and the third, to people who generate a movement for wide-ranging recycling.
